Renewable diesel

It’s a fuel that is chemically identical to petroleum diesel, but is 100% renewable and sustainable. In other words, it’s the latest, greenest diesel on the market. Like biodiesel, renewable diesel is not a fossil fuel. As an alternative, it is made of non-petroleum renewable resources such as natural fats, vegetable oils, and greases. Renewable diesel, much like biodiesel, is obtained from waste, agricultural products, particularly waste vegetable oils and waste animal fats. As long as we increase soybeans and generate livestock, the waste obtained after these yields has been processed into food can be purified into a neat and clean, low-carbon fuel. The SRS renewable diesel process outcome in a high feedstock conversion rate for diesel approaching 85%. Renewable diesel is different from biodiesel, however, in how it’s processed. Renewable diesel is processed identical to the way petroleum diesel is manufactured, which makes it chemically the same as petroleum diesel.
