Transesterification

Biodiesel production is the process of producing the biodiesel, through the chemical reactions transesterification and esterification. And Transesterification is a chemical reaction used for the conversion of fats contained in oils into usable biodiesel. Biodiesel is produced by transesterification process is a very low viscosity, and it helps to replace petroleum diesel in diesel engines enables. The biodiesel production method applied worldwide at industrial level is the transesterification of triglycerides, which are the main component of animal fats and vegetable oils. The most common type of esters is methyl esters, mainly because methanol is usually the cheapest alcohol. The Ester methyl ester is the most common type, mainly because methanol is usually the cheapest alcohol. The reaction is categorized by busses, enzymes, and acids and can take place at high and temperatures. The produced methyl esters of fatty acids are as biodiesel, by-products glycerol is received as a by-product.
